Laurence’s personal charisma and ability to inspire people to express themselves, have established him as the UK’s favourite, most easily identified interior designer. His TV credits include 'Laurence and Jackie’s Northern Exposure', ‘Holiday’, ‘RHS Chelsea Flower Show‘, ‘Changing Rooms’, ‘Design Rules’, ‘Homefront’, ‘Taste’ and ‘Fantasy Rooms’.

This year, Laurence has joined the team at Classic FM and is hosting their Sunday morning show ‘Sunday Spa’, which has an audience share of 20% (their average is 10%). He also has a new series on Radio 4 focusing on ‘Men’s Fashion’, which is currently being recorded for transmission next year.

Laurence, and his family, were recently seen in ‘To The Manor Bowen’ on Living which followed his move from London to a 16th Century house in Gloucestershire and the renovation and decoration of the house. This series will also be show in Australia and New Zealand later this year. Laurence will appear on the BBC1 hit show ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ in October 2008 and will be fronting Five’s new series 'I Own Britain’s Best Home & Garden' in September 2008.

Laurence is a weekly columnist for Reveal magazine with a column named 'Laurence’s Stylish Living' which is being supported by TV adverts throughout August. He also writes a monthly column for ‘BBC Homes & Antiques’ magazine and has guest edited House Beautiful this year, where he also writes a column. Laurence and Jackie wrote their first co-authored book called ‘Pinch of Posh’, published in October 2006 by HarperCollins.

As well as running his own interior design practice in Cirencester, Laurence has a number of very successful product ranges including a best-selling wallpaper range, a collection of mugs, a range of glassware, cutlery, lampshades, carpets, a range of bed linen and a selection of Christmas decorations and garden furtniture for launch in 2009.

Other projects this year have included voiceovers for the Moben Kitchen TV adverts and the advertising for the History Channels ‘My Favourite Place’.
